Product use

It is a mixture of non-ionic material components, specially used to control microbial fouling in industrial water systems. Controlling the amount of microorganisms in industrial water systems is essentially to prevent biological fouling. In cooling systems, biological fouling on heat exchangers and cooling tower fillers will reduce heat transfer efficiency, cause sudden equipment shutdowns, and extend turnover time, resulting in production losses. Biological fouling can also cause microbial corrosion and damage equipment. Therefore, in order to protect the operating unit from such damage, it is necessary to prevent biological fouling in order to achieve the purpose of obtaining benefits.

Although it has no bactericidal activity itself, it can significantly enhance the effectiveness of bactericides in industrial water systems.

It can be used in conjunction with oxidizing bactericides (such as chlorine, bromine, or chlorine dioxide) and non-oxidizing bactericides. This product is particularly effective when biocides alone are not effective. For example, where the use or discharge of biocides is restricted by environmental regulations, the effectiveness of this product will be shown.

Dosing and Usage Requirements

In cooling water, the typical dosing concentration is 10-50ppm (mg/L). In practice, the dosing concentration and dosing frequency depend on many factors, including (but not limited to) system cleanliness, microbial type, nutrient concentration, temperature, pH, residence time and other system operating characteristics. It is recommended to use microbial monitoring technology to evaluate product requirements.
