Engineered Bacteria Biological Packing (EBF) is a new type of aerobic bioreactor filler (including engineered bacteria and carriers) for the advanced treatment of refractory industrial wastewater. This technology mainly relies on the formation of biofilms on efficient carriers by EBF specific microflora, and the use of refractory COD in wastewater to maintain cell viability under aerobic conditions, so as to remove refractory COD from water. Advanced oxidation processes such as ozone catalytic oxidation and Fenton oxidation can be replaced by EBF to reduce operating costs.
